When I went out for lunch today I ran into Bozo and another guy from the church I used to attend. I sort of got stuck sitting with them because there weren't any open seats anywhere. It was okay though just a little funny in my opinion.
One thing the two of them were talking about and somewhat excited about was the "prayer room" that the church had going on last week. They've done that about every six months for the last couple of years and its not a bad idea though I'm not convinced that it is really worth the effort that goes into it. I've gotten off topic though. They were going on and on about how great it was and how they needed it because they can't pray or read the Bible anywhere else as there are too many distractions anywhere else. What I thought was funny about that is that Bozo is one of those people who used to get after me all the time about how I need to pray and read my Bible more and even accusing me of not being a Christian if I couldn't convince him that I had met his arbitrary standards for both of those things. How does someone expect to get away with claiming that he needs a special room at church to be able to pray or read his Bible when he is obsessive about getting other people to do those all the time in their daily lives away from church?
Then Bozo mentioned that he is going to quit his job. This surprised me because he LOVES his job so I asked him about it. His answer almost had me rolling around on the floors of the fast food place laughing due to its stupidity, but I somehow managed to keep a straight face. His answer was that "work is slow because of the recession and I get bored." He apparently isn't afraid of being laid off or anything he just has decided that it is only the company that he is working for that is slow and that he will be able to quickly get a similar job at a similar company for the same or better pay. I think he doesn't understand that art is not a necessity for life and that people tend to cut out the non-essentials in recessions.

Yeah, he is almost certainly in for a lot of disappointment. I thought about trying to point out his stupidity but I realized that with his ego and sense of entitlement and belief that I am an idiot, he wouldn't listen to any of it. Thus I decided to save my breath and save the fast food eaters around us from hearing him trying to insult me.Not so sure I would find it funny. More like sad. He'll learn a hard lesson if he doesn't wise up.
I would love nothing more than to quit my job, and truth is I haven't lost any students and because of tournament season they are all training extra these days.
But the future is always in question.
Justin's thinking about quiting his job.

I agree that it is sad. Part of the reason this is funny to me is that Bozo often talks about strange things that don't make any sense and he rarely seems to be in touch with reality. Then there is his tendency towards getting angry at anyone who tries to help him see reality. I've just kind of learned to find some of his crap funny to avoid getting frustrated by his apparent desire to stupefy everyone around him. Also, I don't know if you remember the pulse or not but Bozo is the one who had made that comment about having to become a Republican when he became a Christian.

The pulse I mentioned was on this site and you commented on it. It was a little longer ago than I was thinking it was. http://mrcolorful.xanga.com/pulse/2018184/item.htmlYou should still be on my private blog, if you aren't then I will be sending you a friend request soon. You haven't missed much, I haven't had much to post on it lately.

He could easily find something to fill the time if he wanted to but he doesn't want to apparently. I don't know what he expects to do to fill his time once he quits his job other than searching for another job. If he doesn't get a job right away I have no doubt that it will somehow become society's and his current boss' fault that he doesn't have a job with no blame falling on him at all.
